Contractors participating in the FixIt DMV Contractor Network are expected to: - Maintain all licenses, registrations and insurance required for the services they perform. - Provide homeowners with clear written estimates or proposals when appropriate. - Clearly communicate project scope, pricing and payment terms. - Obtain homeowner authorization for material changes to project scope or price. - Communicate professionally and respond to homeowner concerns in a timely manner. - Maintain professional conduct while working in or around a customer's property. - Provide applicable warranty and project closeout information. - Keep FixIt DMV informed of material changes to licensing, insurance or business status. - Cooperate with reasonable requests for information related to projects involving FixIt DMV clients.

I understand that FixIt DMV may verify information provided in this application using appropriate public records, licensing authorities, insurance documentation, references and other lawful sources as part of its contractor qualification process. I authorize FixIt DMV to contact the references provided in this application. I understand that submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance into the FixIt DMV Contractor Network and that FixIt DMV may approve, decline, suspend or discontinue contractor participation in accordance with its policies. I understand that participation in the FixIt DMV Contractor Network does not create an employment, partnership, joint venture, agency or general contractor relationship between my company and FixIt DMV. I understand that homeowners independently decide which contractor to hire and, when hired, enter into their own agreement directly with the contractor.
